New Delhi. The stage is set for the IPL 2024 auction in Dubai. BCCI has shortlisted 333 players for the player auction for the 17th season of IPL. This time a maximum of 77 players can be bid in the auction. In which there will be 214 Indian and 119 foreign players. 2 players belong to the associate team. 116 players are capped and 215 are uncapped. Earlier, 1166 players had registered their names for the auction.

The IPL Auction (IPL 2024 Auction) will begin at 2:30 PM IST on December 19 at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai. The highest base price in the auction is Rs 2 crore. This bracket includes 23 players including Australia’s world champion captain Pat Cummins and Travis Head. The second highest base price is Rs 1.5 crore which includes the names of 13 players.

Three Indian players with the highest base price have been included in the player auction for the upcoming IPL season. The names of fast bowler Harshal Patel, Umesh Yadav and all-rounder Shardul Thakur are included in this list. Apart from Travis Head, overseas players include Pat Cummins, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Josh English, Josh Hazlewood and Sean Abbott in this bracket.
