New Delhi. The player auction for the 2024 season of the Indian Premier League will take place on Tuesday, December 19. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shared the names of 333 players who will participate in this IPL Mini Auction (IPL 2024 Auction). There are 77 vacant slots in 10 teams which means 77 players out of these 333 will be picked in the auction out of which 30 will be foreigners. The IPL has also seen the performances of many players who were bought by franchises at very low prices, many at their original prices, but they have left a huge impact with their performances. In other words, in terms of performance, they have outperformed even the big name players sold for crores of rupees. In a way, he has proved to be a ‘full value for money player’ for his franchise.
