In the year 1982, Rishi Kapoor and Padmini Kolhapur were seen in the lead roles in the romantic drama film ‘Prem Rog’ directed by Raj Kapoor. Raza Murad played the role of Rishi Kapoor’s elder brother in this film. The villain character of Raza in the film was liked by the people. Even though Rishi was in the lead role in the film, he clashed. The film did well at the Indian box office and recovered its total budget and made huge profits. It turned out to be the second highest-grossing film of 1982.

But the scene was not perfect. In this matter, he had to slap Ranveer 24 times. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali got the scene perfect only after 24 retakes. Ranveer Singh faced many slaps from Raza Murad in this film. Apart from Ranveer and Raza Murad, actors like Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jim Sarab, Aditi Rao Hydari, Anupriya Goenka were also seen in the film.
