There has been a change in Morgan Stanley Capital International i.e. MSCI India Index. Nine companies have been added to the index, including IndusInd Bank, Suzlon Energy and one 97 Communications. This will be applicable from November 30, 2023. Many big companies are included in this list.

Which companies include: According to the new announcement, APL Apollo Tubes, IndusInd Bank, Macrotech Developers, One 97 Communications (parent company of Paytm), Persistent Systems, Polycab India, Suzlon Energy, Tata Communications and Tata Motors will be added to the MSCI India index.

What effect on shares: On the BSE index, Suzlon Energy gained 4.79 percent, One 97 Communications gained 2.90 percent, Tata Motors gained 2.84 percent, Persistent Systems gained 0.61 percent and Macrotech Developers gained 0.7 percent. . However, the share of IndusInd Bank fell by 1.05 percent. Similarly, the share of Tata Communications fell by 1.26 percent. Shares of APL Apollo Tubes were down 0.90 percent. Similarly, shares of Polycab India declined by 0.04 percent.
