The two-match Test series between South Africa and India begins on December 26. Before this series, the former captain of the South African team AB de Villiers has told his team how a batsman like Virat Kohli can be dismissed. He has advised his bowlers to dismiss Virat Kohli, as he knows how big a threat Virat Kohli can be for the home team.
In an interview to PTI ahead of the two-match Test series under the World Test Championship, AB de Villiers said, “The only way to get a batsman like Virat Kohli out is to bowl at the fourth stump channel and play the waiting game, a very conservative approach.” This is the way. He further cited the example of Sachin Tendulkar, saying, “As in Tendulkar’s case, it is always foolish to wait for an LBW (inside delivery) because it will hit you through mid-wicket. So that ball should be bowled outside off. The stump (((Virat)) and Edge one or wait to go in.” De Villiers also admitted that the team will miss Mohammed Shami, who is not part of the Test series.

De Villiers has admitted that India have the best chance of winning the Test series. He said, “The Indian team has arrived in South Africa with its best chance (of winning the series) so far.
