AFCAT 1 2024 Notification: Indian Air Force (IAF) is soon going to release the official notification for AFCAT 2024 (Air Force Common Admission Test) on the official website afcat.cdac.in.
Let us tell you that a total of 317 posts will be filled for Flying, Ground Duty (Technical), Ground Duty (Non-Technical) and Flying Branch. Let us tell you that applications will also be called for NCC Special Entry Scheme (for Flying Branch).
Online applications for appearing in the Air Force Common Admission Test i.e. AFCAT exam is expected to start from December 01. Last date to apply may be 30th December 2023. Let us tell you that the exam date will be announced in the official notification. This course will start in January 2025.
Educational Qualification
flying branch – Candidate should have passed class 12 with 50% marks from any recognized institution. Let us tell you that in 12th, mathematics and physics are required subjects. Along with this, must have BE/BTech degree in any subject with minimum 60% marks.
Ground Duty (Technical) Branch
Must have passed 12th with 50% marks from any recognized institution with Mathematics and Physics subjects and four years degree/integrated post graduation in Engineering.
Ground Duty (Non Technical)
Administration – Should have passed class 12 and should have Bachelor degree in any subject with 60% marks.
education – Must have passed standard 12th and post graduation with minimum 50% marks and graduation with 60% marks.

Selection process
There will be an online AFCAT exam. Ground Duty (Technical) branch candidates will also have to appear in the Engineering Knowledge Test. The final merit will be determined on the basis of performance in both AFCAT and AFSB examinations.
Exam time
AFCAT Exam: 2 hours 45 minutes exam will ask 100 questions which will be from General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, Military Aptitude. The paper will be of 300 marks.

Step 2- Click on “IAF AFCAT 2024” link shown on home page.
Step 3- Now the application form will be in front of you. Start filling the requested information.
Step 4- Scan in suitable size and start submitting required documents.
Step 5- Now pay the application fee and click on submit link.
Step 6- If you want, you can take a printout for future.
