New Delhi. Indian cricket team’s dream of winning the ICC World Cup title remained unfulfilled. After 2011 once again team India reached the final but Australia prevented them from winning. Captain Rohit Sharma could not fulfill his dream of lifting the trophy by playing the last World Cup in India. A defeat would have been a doomsday for Team India, who had won the entire tournament.
Team India reached the final of the ICC ODI World Cup with 10 consecutive wins. After defeating Australia, they won 9 group matches to reach the semi-finals and beat New Zealand to enter the title race. The Australian team shattered India’s dream of winning the title. Captain Rohit Sharma was named alongside former captain Sourav Ganguly, whose dream was dashed by defeating Australia in the 2003 World Cup final.

This is considered to be the last World Cup in India for the six veterans of Team India. Now he will not get a chance to play in this ICC tournament in front of his fans in India. If captain Rohit Sharma, former captain Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami and Suryakumar Yadav are age wise then they will not be able to play the 2031 World Cup in India.
