AKTU New Courses: Now management courses can also be affiliated with AKTU. Engineering colleges will not need to seek affiliation from other universities. AICTE has also decided to link management courses at the undergraduate level for the first time from the session 2024-25. Earlier, AICTE gave affiliation only to management courses running at PG level. With this decision, universities will have to take affiliation of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) from AICTE. Due to this AKTU affiliated engineering institutes will not have to seek recognition from any other university for these courses.
Hitherto, engineering colleges and institutes affiliated to technical universities had to take affiliation from any state university falling within their jurisdiction. Vice Chancellor Prof. JP Pandey said colleges have received approval from AICTE to give affiliation to management courses. AKTU administration will start recognizing BBA and BCA at the university level from the session 2024-25. Necessary guidelines have been formulated for accreditation. Which has been sent to the government for approval.
Willingness to give three years engagement in management

Prof. According to Pandey, after getting approval from the government, AKTU will provide accreditation to all affiliated colleges for a maximum period of three years. Affiliation with AKTU will benefit affiliated engineering institutes and colleges. Currently, UG management courses are required to be accredited by a state university.
