Washington. America has made a big accusation against Russia. The White House has said that Russia is executing its soldiers for disobeying orders related to the Ukraine war. News website Nikkei quoted White House spokesman John Kirby as saying that Russia had carried out the executions as part of a crackdown on troops retreating from an offensive in the eastern city of Advika in the Donetsk region. Let me tell you that both Russian and Ukrainian armies have been fighting in Donetsk for several weeks.
“We have information that the Russian military is, in fact, executing soldiers who refuse to obey orders,” Kirby said at a press conference Thursday. “We also have information that Russian commanders are threatening to kill entire units if they try to retreat under Ukrainian artillery fire.”
Kiev has claimed that 400 people died in one day while trying to retake a major city, significantly weakening the Russian army. Kirby said the troops mobilized by Russia were untrained and unprepared for battle. He said the army was sending groups of poorly trained soldiers into battle. A White House spokesman said the threat to execute soldiers was barbaric.

The new revelations about Russia come a day after the US announced a new $150 million military aid package for Ukraine that includes artillery and small arms ammunition, as well as anti-tank weapons. The war began after Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, but shows no signs of ending as both sides have stepped up attacks to regain control of the disputed territories.
