Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Animal has earned well at the box office. On 1 December, the Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Tripti Dimri starrer Animal was released and many of its scenes were in talks. After smashing the theaters, Animal will now release on OTT in a few days. Meanwhile, there is a news that will thrill the viewers. Sandeep Reddy Vanga said that the OTT version of Animal will have many scenes that were not seen in the theatres.
Slept in the mixing room for 3-4 days
Sandeep Reddy Vanga in conversation with trade analyst Komal Nahta. animal talked about the OTT release of Sandeep stated that he is working on the OTT version of the film and said that he is saddened by the absence of some scenes in the theatrical version, but it will be kept on OTT. Sandeep said that when he first saw the film, he noticed many flaws. Sandeep said, ‘I don’t know, but there were some flaws in the film, like the make-up in some scenes or the costumes in some. Actually the film was in five languages and I was lost as to which one I checked in Chennai. The last 20 days were very scary. We slept in the mixing room for 3-4 days. I should have stayed there another week.
Sandeep edited the OTT version
About editing the film in the OTT version, Sandeep said, ‘I was editing the OTT version of the film as there were some flaws in some 1-2 shots of the film. I will use some different and new shots from the film for this same scene. I should have left the film at 3 hours 30 minutes, not 3 hours 21 minutes. I don’t know why I edited 8-9 minutes. Now I will use those 5-6 extra minutes.
Parineeti gets Kabir Singh and Animal offer
Parineeti Chopra was earlier slated to play Preeti (Kiara Advani) in Sandeep’s Kabir Singh and Geetanjali (Rashmika Mandanna) in Animal. About this, Sandeep said that he had signed Parineeti one and a half years before the shooting. Sandeep said, ‘This is my mistake. Some characters don’t sit well with some actors. I never believed in auditions. I just listen to my heart. I loved her acting from day one.
Parineeti felt bad
Sandeep continued, ‘I wanted to cast Parineeti as Preeti in Kabir Singh, but it didn’t work out. I wanted to work with him from the beginning. She knew this from the beginning. Sandeep said that he told this to Parineeti and also apologized. After this it was said that nothing is bigger than this film. So such a decision has to be taken. Parineeti felt bad but she also understood.
