It is jointly developed by Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS). It provides real-time location through satellite. Many smartphone companies are already using this NavIC Indian GPS in some of their phones, including Realme, Xiaomi and OnePlus. But for the first time iPhone manufacturing company Apple has supported NavIC with its new series of iPhones.
