India has won its third medal in rowing and fourth overall at the Asian Games 2023. India has so far won three silver and one bronze medal. In the rowing men’s eight event, the Indian team finished second behind China with a time of 5:43:01. Babu Lal Yadav and Lekh Ram won the bronze medal in the men’s doubles and Arjun Lal Jat-Arvind Singh won the silver medal in the men’s lightweight double sculls. In this way, India has won three medals in rowing so far.

This is India’s second medal in the Coxed eight event after the 2014 edition. In the middle of this race, the Indian team was running at the third position, but based on their brilliant efforts in the second half, India managed to win the silver medal.
