Babar Attends Imam’s Nikah Ceremony, Enjoys Qawwali, Watch VIDEO

New Delhi. Pakistan team cricketer Imam-ul-Haq is going to marry Anmol Mehmood in Lahore on Saturday, November 25. The celebrations started from 23rd November with a Qawwali programme. Nikah on Saturday and Walima on November 26. Imam’s special friends and former Pakistan captain Babar Azam and Sarfraz Ahmed participated in the Qawwali program organized on Thursday. Sarfraz can be seen dancing to ‘Mera Piya Aur Aya’ in the video of the program which has gone viral. Babur and Imam are also seen in it.

Let us tell you that Anmol’s mehndi ceremony was organized in Norway on Tuesday. In the pictures shared on Instagram, Imam’s future wife was seen in a dark red lehenga with golden embroidery.

After the marriage, Imam will soon leave for Australia to play a Test series. This Test series between Australia and Pakistan will be played in December-January. The first test will be played in Perth from December 14th, the second test will be played on December 14th. Melbourne from December 26 and the third and final Test will be held in Melbourne from December 26. The Test will be held in Sydney from January 3. Pakistan team’s training camp for this series has started from November 23 in Rawalpindi. Babar and Sarfraz have taken permission from PCB to attend the Nikah ceremony.

Imam, the nephew of legendary Pakistani cricketer Inzamam ul Haq, has represented the Pakistan team in 22 Tests, 72 ODIs and two T20Is. He has scored 1474 runs at an average of 38.78 in Tests, 3138 runs at an average of 48.27 in ODIs and 21 runs in T20Is.
