Bharatpay Vs Ashneer Grover: Fintech firm BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain have been banned from leaving the country. The decision has been taken based on the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against both of them. The couple was on their way to New York on Thursday when they were stopped at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, ET reported citing a source.
What is the matter: Let us tell you that a look out notice was issued against Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain on the request of Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police. Earlier in June, the EOW had lodged an FIR against the couple and some other family members for alleged misappropriation of funds and loss of Rs 81 crore to Resilient Innovations Pvt Ltd, which runs BharatPe.
