In Bihar, the training of newly appointed teachers from BPSC will take place from November 13 to 18. Before this, an affidavit will be made from all the teachers that they have been appointed through the Bihar Public Service Commission examination. Apart from this, provisional appointment letter and complete counseling report will also be taken from the teachers. Patna District Magistrate has ordered schools to remain open during the holidays from Diwali to Chhath so that the teachers do not face any problem. During the training the teachers will be briefed about all the activities going on in the school. This includes lesson commentary, lesson planning, class conduct, all types of scholarships, account maintenance, midday meal plan etc. For this reason, all BDOs, COs, BWOs, Revenue Officers etc. will be included in the training.
The further process will be undertaken only after filling the affidavit by the newly appointed teachers for training in two sessions. The training will run in two sessions. First from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and second from 1.30 pm to 4 pm. Meanwhile, all newly appointed teachers of the district will be informed about various schemes. This training program will be conducted under the leadership of all Block Education Officers.
New teachers should not be part of any union
The education department has said that the teachers selected from the BPSC have not even started teaching classes, nor have any taken a single class, but the union has already been formed. The education department has taken this matter seriously. The department has given strict instructions that teachers selected from BPSC should somehow become part of the union. The department has declared any such association invalid.

Citing the rules, the education department has drawn the attention of the newly appointed teachers of BPSC to section 17 of the Code of Conduct of Bihar School Teachers Rules 2023. Under this code of conduct, the Bihar Government Servants Code of Conduct 1976 applies to all school teachers. It is clear that government servants will not form organizations or agitate or demonstrate.
