The news of a bomb threat to the Reserve Bank has created an uproar in Mumbai. In fact a threatening mail was sent to the Reserve Bank. It mentioned 11 bomb blasts. As soon as this news came out on Tuesday, there was a rush in the police department. However, no suspicious items were found at these locations including RBI’s central office building and two other banks.

Threats to bomb RBI
An email was sent to the email id of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) governor at around 10.50 am on Tuesday from an ID named ‘khilafat.india’, to the addresses of RBI’s new central office building, Churchgate and HDFC House in Bandra, a police official said. There was a bomb blast threat at ICICI Bank Tower in Kurla Complex.
Demand for Finance Minister Sitharaman’s resignation
According to the FIR, the person who sent the email threatened to bomb and demanded that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das immediately resign from their posts and issue a detailed statement on the revelations of the “banking scam”. “11 bombs have been planted at various locations in Mumbai and at RBI’s new central office building in Fort, HDFC House in Churchgate and ICICI Bank Tower in Bandra-Kurla Complex at 1:30 pm,” he quoted the email as saying. will explode. Nothing suspicious was found during the search
The police searched all the places mentioned in the email, the police official said. But nothing suspicious was found from these places.
