The first week saw rapid growth
The film showed tremendous growth in the first weekend. On the second day, the business saw a growth of 126 percent and did a business of 2 crore 51 lakh rupees. Business improved by 24 percent on the third day and ’12th Fail’ earned Rs 3 crore 12 lakh.

The Vikrant Massey starrer did a total business of Rs 13 crore 4 lakh in the first week and in this too the film earned only Rs 13 crore from the Hindi version. The film benefited more from word of mouth publicity than promotion.
Where did the film reach in the second week?
The film has so far earned around Rs 8 crore in the second week. The film did a business of Rs 1 crore 75 crore on the first Friday of the second week and on Saturday the business improved by 76 percent and the film earned Rs 3 crore 9 lakh. It is estimated that the film will earn 2 crore 96 lakh rupees on the third day.

Talking about the total collection so far, ’12th Fail’ has crossed the Rs 20 crore mark in the last 10 days. The film has so far collected a total of 20 crore 84 lakh rupees. Now it remains to be seen what wonders this film can do next.
