BPSC TRE: BPSC bans Munnabhai for life, says- One post one result not possible

BPSC chairman Atul Prasad said in a press conference on Friday that those appearing in the examination as Munnabhai will be banned for life. Candidates involved in misconduct will be debarred for one to five years. Action will also be taken against candidates who tarnish the image of the Commission and make false complaints. On the demand of one candidate one result, he said that it is not possible to give one result to one post due to the degree of freedom. He said that this time 90 types of merit list will be made.

The BPSC chairman said that from today Friday it will start declaring the results of the second phase of the Bihar Teacher Recruitment Examination. Bihar Public Service Commission has said that the result of Headmaster will come first. After this, the results of two secondary school subjects (Class 6 to 8) will be declared. This will have math and science results.

It is possible that the results of class 11 and 12 and class 9 and 10 teachers will be declared after middle school. Finally, the results of primary teachers from class 1 to 5 may be declared. According to an estimate, it will take three to four days to declare the results of various categories of teachers from class 1 to 12. This exam was conducted for the recruitment of teachers on a total of 1.22 lakh posts.

Minimum Qualifying Marks and Cutoff
BPSC has said that it is mandatory for general category candidates to secure 40 per cent, backward class 36.5 per cent, extremely backward class 34 per cent, SC, ST and disabled 32 per cent minimum qualification in the written examination. These are the minimum qualifying marks. Those who do not achieve the marks will not be included in the merit list. They will not be declared successful in the result.

The guidelines issued by the BPSC before the TRE result said that after the declaration of the result of the Bihar Teacher Recruitment Exam, the documents related to the required educational qualification submitted during the online application at the time of counseling for the appointment will be scrutinized. This time watermark is different from previous watermark

BPSC has stated that the documents uploaded by the candidates while filling the form will be shown to the department at the time of verification. When downloaded, all documents uploaded by candidates will have a new watermark printed with automatic registration, different from the previous watermark. Passed candidates will upload all their certificates on the portal of BPSC, bearing the commission’s watermark, and present them in the counseling organized by the department.

Merit List and Tiebreaker
The provisional merit list of successful candidates will be prepared by the Commission on the basis of the total marks in the written examination, excluding the language qualification marks i.e. remaining 120 questions. In case of equal total marks, the marks of Main Section Part-III of the selected subject i.e. last 80 questions is used as the first tie breaker. But due to absence of Part 3 in Class 1 to 5, there will be no tie breaker – I.

In case of equal marks after Tie Breaker – I, the marks obtained in the Language Section in the second Tie Breaker – II will be used for recruitment of teachers for classes 1 to 5.
