Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has changed the date of second phase teacher recruitment exam. The pre-scheduled December 14th exam will now be held on December 7th, December 15th exam on December 14th and December 16th exam on December 15th. BPSC chairman Atul Prasad has informed on social media platform ‘X’ on Friday that the examination of December 14, 15 and 16 will now be held on December 7, 14 and 15 respectively. The head teacher exam which was held on December 14 in the old schedule will be held on December 7 in the new schedule. In the old schedule, the class 1 to 5 exam, which was scheduled to be held on December 15, will be held on December 14. The examination for all subjects from 11th to 12th which was conducted on 16th December will now be conducted on 15th December.
The BPSC chairman said that the examination to be held from December 7 to 10 has been held as per schedule. In the new schedule also the exam will be conducted in a single shift from 12 noon to 230 pm.
122286 posts of teachers will be filled in the second phase of recruitment. In this, BPSC has already issued advertisement for restoration of 69706 teacher posts under education department and a total of 916 teacher posts under backward class and most backward class welfare department. Along with this, 50263 teacher appointments are pending in the first phase and a total of 1401 posts are to be restored under Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department.
Bihar Teacher Recruitment Exam Admit Card (BPSC TRE Admit Card, Bihar Teacher Exam Admit Card) will be released next week or early next month.
OMR sheet released, what to be aware of
Bihar Public Service Commission has released demo OMR sheet of second phase teacher recruitment exam (BPSC TRE 2.0) to be held in December. By looking at the OMR sheet, candidates can get an idea of what kind of answer sheet they will get. There will be five options – A, B, C, D, E. The circle with the correct answer is to be filled in with blue or black pen. Use of liquid or eraser on OMR sheet is prohibited. A demo OMR sheet explains how to fill in the circles. If more than one circle is filled in the answer to the question, that answer will be considered as wrong.
After the release of the OMR sheet, BPSC Chairman Atul Prasad tweeted, ‘There will be no text entry of roll number in the OMR sheet of TRE 2.0. Similarly, the subject combination will also be the same as given by the candidates while filling the application form. In such a situation, candidates should be careful as wrong entries will be rejected by computer and manual cross verification will not take place.
In another tweet, he said, ‘Question booklet series will already be printed on OMR sheets in TRE 2.0. Candidates do not have to fill it. It is not to be tampered with. Otherwise the OMR sheet will be rejected.
