The stock market stalled on Friday, the last trading day of the week. The 30-share benchmark index Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today opened down 193.69 points at 65,788.79. While the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange today started the day down 90.45 points at 19,674.75.
The Sensex was down 119 points at 65863 in early trade. While it was trading down 13 points at 19,752.20. On the Nifty, stocks like Asian Paints, BPCL, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp and Mahindra & Mahindra were the top gainers, while top losers were SBI, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finserv and ONGC.

Which stocks to bet on today?
On today’s intraday stocks, stock market experts Sumit Bagdia, Executive Director, Choice Broking, Ganesh Dongre, Senior Manager, Technical Research, Anand Rathi and Kunal Kamble, Senior Technical Analyst, Bonanza Portfolio, have recommended six stocks to buy or sell today.
- Sumeet Bagdia has asked to bet on HCL Technologies. He recommends buying HCL Tech at ₹1311 and has a target of ₹1410. Along with this, the stop loss is asked to be kept at ₹1260.
- Bagdia suggests Escorts as another stock. He has offered to buy it at ₹3186.75. A target of ₹3340 and a stop loss of ₹3120 is suggested for this stock.
- Ganesh Dongre today suggested Buy Cyient at ₹1715 and target of ₹1755. Also, to avoid losses, stop loss is asked to be kept at ₹1680.
- Along with this he has suggested buying Finolex Industries at ₹203. Keep its target at ₹210 and stop loss at ₹197.
- Kunal Kamble today advises NTPC to buy between ₹251 and ₹252.50. Keep NTPC target at ₹262 and stop loss at ₹245.
- As another stock, Kamble recommends betting on Dabur India. Buy Dabur between ₹533 to ₹535, target at ₹570 and stop loss at ₹515.
