Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that on the occasion of Lord Birsa Munda’s birth anniversary on Wednesday, the Center will spend Rs. 24,000 crore scheme will be launched. Addressing an election rally in Madhya Pradesh’s Betul district, PM Modi noted the large turnout on the last day of his campaign for the November 17 assembly polls, saying it was a sign that the BJP was certain to win these elections.

The PM said that he has seen unprecedented trust and affection towards the BJP among the people of Madhya Pradesh. He said that the Congress has accepted defeat even before the elections. “Tomorrow is tribal pride day, I will go to Jharkhand to honor (tribal icon) Lord Birsa Munda,” he said. The entire country will celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda and on this occasion the central government will announce a Rs 24,000 crore scheme for the welfare of tribals.
The Prime Minister said that the Congress never believed that the abrogation of Article 370, the law against triple talaq and the construction of a Ram temple would ever become a reality in Jammu and Kashmir, but we have done all this. All promises made to public will be fulfilled and this is my guarantee. Modi also said that India has become the second largest manufacturer of mobile phones in the world.
He took a dig at former Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s comment during a rally on Monday, saying that the mobile phones in people’s pockets are ‘Made in China’ and should be ‘Made in Madhya Pradesh’.
He said that when the Congress was in power at the Centre, the country produced mobile phones worth less than Rs 20,000 crore annually. Today, more than 3.5 lakh crore rupees worth of mobile phones are being manufactured and 1 lakh crore rupees worth of mobile phones are being exported to various countries. The country has now become a ‘local for vocals’. This Diwali, indigenously produced goods have flooded the market. This is a development that is being appreciated by the business community.
The Prime Minister said that some Congress leaders are sitting at home and do not even feel like coming out. Congress people don’t know what to tell people. The Congress has admitted that its false promises cannot stand up to Modi’s guarantees. This election is to stop the corruption and looting of Congress in Madhya Pradesh. You know that wherever Congress comes (to power), it brings destruction.
