CG Police Constable Recruitment 2023: Applications for 5967 Constable Posts in Chhattisgarh Police will start from January 1, 2024. Till 15 February 2024, candidates can apply online by visiting cgpolice.gov.in. The notification regarding the recruitment was released by the police headquarters on 4 October 2023. But it was postponed due to the implementation of the code of conduct due to the assembly elections in the state. This recruitment is going on for the posts of Constable GD, Constable Driver and Constable Trade (like Dhobi, Kul, Cobbler etc.). More than 5000 posts of Constable GD are vacant. Constable Vacancies in Chhattisgarh Police Force will be recruited only from the local resident candidates of Chhattisgarh State.
capacity – 10th pass from a school located in the state of Chhattisgarh/Madhya Pradesh. Only Scheduled Tribe candidates will be eligible, even if they have passed 8th standard. Candidates from all categories of Naxal affected families and families living in relief camps in Naxal affected areas and who have passed 5th standard will also be eligible. For the post of Constable (Driver) license to drive heavy vehicles is required and for Constable (Trade) expertise in relevant trade is required.
Age: 18 to 28 years. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) will be given relaxation of up to 5 years in the upper age limit.
Male height should be at least 168 cm. Female height should be at least 158 cm.
Male candidate’s chest should be at least 81 cm. It should be 86 cm when extended.

Selection Process – Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Test.
For Constable GD candidates, there will be Document Verification, Physical Measurement, Physical Performance Test (Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, 100m Run and 800m Run) – 100 Marks and Written Test (General Knowledge, Intelligence Ability, Analytical Ability). and Arithmetic) – 100 marks.
