Chandigarh Education Department has invited applications for 96 posts of Special Teacher TGT and Special Teacher JBT. There are 49 vacancies for Special Educator TGT and 47 vacancies for Special Educator JBT. Talking about TGT vacancies, 22 posts are unreserved, 13 posts are reserved for OBC, 9 posts are reserved for SC and 5 are reserved for EWS. In JBT, 23 posts are unreserved, 12 posts are reserved for OBC, 8 posts for SC and 4 for EWS. The online application process for this recruitment will start from 20 September 2023 at www.chdeducation.gov.in. Last date to apply is 12 October 2023. Last date for fee deposit is 16 October 2023.

Special Teacher TGT-
Graduation with minimum 50% marks. and B.Ed (Special Education) with minimum 50% marks. Or
Graduation with minimum 50% marks. B.Ed with minimum 50% marks and two years Diploma in Special Education. Or
Graduation with minimum 50% marks. B.Ed and PG Professional Diploma (Special Education) with minimum 50% marks.
JBT
Graduation. And two years Diploma in Special Education with minimum 50% marks.
Maximum age limit – 37 years. Age will be calculated from January 1, 2023 onwards.

Special Teacher TGT- Rs 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs 4600
Special Educator JBT- Rs 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
Selection – There will be objective type test. In which the merit list will be made based on the marks obtained. There will be no interviews.
