Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana: 25 thousand girl students of the state who have passed graduation will get 50 thousand rupees each as incentive this month. This amount will be sent to their bank account. Verification of applications for this has been completed. To pay this amount of 25 thousand, the education department is trying to withdraw 125 crore rupees at the earliest. The above students applied under Chief Minister Kanya (Graduate) Incentive Scheme, the payment of which is pending. At the same time, new applications have come from 51 thousand female students who have passed graduation. The amount will be sanctioned after scrutinizing their applications and relevant certificates. Applications were invited on the portal for payment of Rs 50,000 to female students who passed the graduation examination between April 1, 2021 and March 31, 2023. September 30 was the last date for this. According to the information received from the department, there were one lakh eight thousand graduate students whose applications have not been received. For this, applications were invited till September 30, but only 51 thousand 511 students have applied during this period. Now the portal is closed.

Let us tell you that earlier under this scheme 25,000 rupees were given to graduate students. A year ago, from 2021-22, the state government increased the amount to Rs 50 thousand. In the year 2022-23, a provision of Rs 250 crore was made for the Chief Minister’s Girl Upliftment (Graduation) Scheme under the Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana. Girls will be encouraged from this amount. 207132 girl students received incentive amount under Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana and Chief Minister Girl Child Incentive (Graduate) Yojana.
