Children did not go to school
The show was Shaktiman, which was such a craze among children that they often skipped school. It would not be wrong to say that Shaktiman was the first Indian superhero of the small screen. Mukesh Khanna in the role of Shaktiman impressed the children. She was seen wearing a special red dress in each episode. He hovered in the air with his arms raised and moved from one place to another in a flash like a super hero. In the same show, Mukesh Khanna also played the character of Gangadhar, a simple person. The same Gangadhar transforms into Shaktimaan when required.
Children were copying
The special thing about this show was that even children were imitating Mukesh Khanna’s energetic style. The children imitated his action of spinning in a circle with his arms raised in the air. There were also reports that the show was being removed so that children would not be in any danger while copying it. However, according to IMDb Trivia, Mukesh Khanna informed that he had to stop the show due to the increase in broadcasting charges.
