CSBC Result: The Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) has declared the final result of the examination conducted for 689 vacancies of Prohibition Constable on its website. 665 candidates have been selected in this selection list. This includes 269 women, 395 men and one transgender candidate Gudiya Kumari. On Monday, the special duty officer of the council said that 24 posts are lying vacant due to lack of qualified candidates. He said that among the selected candidates, women candidates have also secured place in the men’s category on the basis of merit. Selected candidates are required to contribute in person at the office of the Secretary, Prohibition Excise and Registration Department from 17 November to 16 December 2023. Otherwise their candidature may be cancelled.
According to the information received in this regard, an advertisement was issued for the reinstatement of 689 Prohibition Constables in November 2022. After completing the application process, the written test was conducted on 14 May 2023, the result of which was published on 10 June.
Based on the written test, 3445 candidates were selected for the proficiency test held in the month of September and October. Only 2644 candidates were present in it. Of these, 1471 were found in races, 153 in physical measurements and other competitions, 313 were found to be issuing defective EWS and NCL certificates and another six were found to be ineligible in document verification. The appointment of the final selected candidate is recommended.
