Dharamshala. India’s match against New Zealand in the World Cup (ICC ODI World Cup 2023) is scheduled to be played against New Zealand on Sunday. Team India reached Dharamshala to play the match. As soon as they reached Dharamshala, they had some fun to reduce the tension. After reaching Dharamsala, the team players and support staff reached Lungta village, 8 km away. Lungta village in Khaniyara is situated at the foothills of Dhauladhar.
Dhauladhar is covered in snow this time and it is very relaxing to see the snowy mountains while eating Himachali food at Lungta. Lungta village is a favorite place of former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin came here with his family in 2018. Sachin also shared beautiful pictures of the village on his Twitter account.
Since then this village became famous all over the world. The village has several houses covered with slate stones and a resort. The villagers have dedicated a place in the village to Sachin Tendulkar named “Tendulkar Point”.
