Delhi Police has arrested a person working on the direction of Khalistan terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. On September 27, the accused wrote slogans in support of Khalistan on the walls of Delhi’s ISBT bus stand. Apart from this, Pannu tasked him to write slogans in support of Khalistan at Delhi airport and other places before the final match of the Cricket World Cup. Pannu, who runs an organization called ‘Sikhs for Justice’, also released a video and threatened to attack Parliament.

According to Special CP of Special Cell HGS Dhaliwal, slogans like ‘Delhi Banega Khalistan SFJ’ and ‘Khalistan Zindabad SFJ’ were written at several places near the ISBT bus stand on September 27. Soon after that, a video also surfaced on the internet, in which SFJ (Sikhs for Justice) chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannu claimed that Khalistani Sikhs from Canada had arrived in Delhi to attack the Parliament of India to avenge the killing of Nijjar. And that is why slogans have been written in Delhi in support of Khalistan.
He said that Pannu stays in touch with the youth of India through various social media platforms or one. He gets the youth to do his work by sending money abroad or by luring the youth to drugs. So far we have arrested 5 of his accomplices.
Accused Malak Singh was also involved in three other incidents of supporting Khalistan in Haryana before the G-20 summit. According to the police, the accused is inclined towards Khalistan ideology since childhood.
At the behest of Pannu, slogans in support of Khalistan were written in many places.
In 2018, after Gurpatwant Singh Pannu announced Janmat 2020, Malak Singh started following SFJ videos and messages. Later, during the farmers’ agitation in 2020, he came to the Singhu border, where he came in contact with SFJ and Khalistan supporters. From which he came to know about various YouTube channels, social media IDs and mobile number of Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. After this he came in contact with Gurpatwant Singh Pannu and the two began to discuss the Khalistan movement and the plebiscite. Gradually he won the confidence of Pannu and later wrote slogans in support of Khalistan in these places at the behest of Gurpatwant Singh Pannu.
He was involved in pro-Khalistan activities:-
- On April 5, 2023, he wrote slogans such as “Welcome Khalistan to Delhi G20” with spray paint in Police Station Ismailabad area of Kurukshetra.
- On 5 September 2023, he wrote the pro-Khalistan slogan “G20, Punjab not part of India, SFJ” at Kurukshetra railway station.
- Before the G-20 summit, Gurpatwant Singh Pannu wrote on a saffron flag, “G20 Punjab, Bharat Khalistan is not a referendum, long live SFJ” and placed it near the HUDA City Center in Gurugram.
- Slogans like “Delhi Banega Khalistan SFJ” and “Khalistan Zindabad SFJ” were written near the ISBT Kashmiri Gate on September 27, 2023. Took photographs and made videos and then sent those photographs and videos to Pannu, after which Pannu uploaded them on several social media platforms. Accused Malak then destroyed all the digital evidence.
During the investigation of the mobile phone found in Malak Singh’s possession, it was revealed that he was asked to write and write pro-Khalistan slogans on Delhi Airport and other government buildings in Delhi on November 19, 2023, the same day as the final. Gurpatwant Singh Pannu also threatened to put up such posters during the final match in his new video. He also asked Sikhs not to travel on Air India flights on November 19, 2023.
