Delhi Police Constable Recruitment Exam of Staff Selection Commission will be held between 14th November to 3rd December. Admit cards have been issued for candidates from all states including UP, Bihar, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, MP and Rajasthan. 31,83,413 candidates from across the country have registered for Delhi Police Constable Recruitment. That means there are about 421 contenders for one post. 9,06,890 candidates from UP and Bihar have applied for the exam. Here the exam will be conducted at 88 centers in 19 cities. Out of 7547 posts, 4555 posts are unreserved. There are 1301 posts for SC, 810 for EWS, 429 for OBC and 452 for ST.
Exam Pattern
The computer based examination will consist of 100 multiple choice questions of one mark each. In which 50 questions will be on General Knowledge, 25 on Reasoning, 15 on Numerical Ability and ten questions on Computer. One quarter mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Physical test will only qualify. The merit of selection will be based on the marks obtained in the written examination.
If there are equal marks in the written examination then a tie breaker will be decided based on that.
– First of all the marks of Part A of the examination will be seen.
Then the marks of Part B will be checked.
– Date of birth will be seen. An older person will be ranked higher in merit.
– Alphabetical order will be viewed.

PET Rules of Constable Recruitment
Men – 1600 meters in 6 minutes, 14 feet long jump, 3.9 feet high jump
Women – 1600 meters in 8 minutes, 10 feet long jump, 3 feet high jump
Selected candidates will get pay scale of Level-3 (Rs. 21700- Rs. 69100).
Delhi Police Sub Inspector recruitment will be next year
Delhi Police CAPF SI Recruitment 2024 notification will be released on 15 February 2024. Applications will be accepted till March 14 and the exam will be held in May-June.
Two GD constables will be recruited in 10 months
The applications for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024 will start this month from 24th November 2023, while the notification for GD Constable Recruitment for the year 2025 will come after about 10 months on 27th August 2024. SSC GD Through Constable Recruitment Exam, Assam Rifles will recruit for the posts of CAPF, NIA, SSF and GD Constable in Rifleman.
