Mumbai: There are many actors in Bollywood who reach Mumbai with the desire to become heroes, but end up making headlines by playing more negative roles than the positive ones that give them recognition. Something similar happened to this actor who was seen in a black and white photo with Bollywood’s Heman Dharmendra. He has played both positive and negative roles on screen, but among the audience he is known more for his negative roles than his positive roles. Sometimes he was expelled from college due to bullying. Can you recognize this star seen with Dharmendra in the black and white photo?

If not, let us know. The actor seen with Dharmendra in the photo is none other than Kiran Kumar. Due to excessive pampering, he became quite mischievous in his childhood and youth days, due to which his father became upset with him and decided to send him to a boarding school. When his father took him to boarding school, seeing the list of toppers on the board, he said – ‘I want to see your name on this board too.’ However, Kiran Kumar was never interested in studies.

Kiran Kumar was very fond of cricket and drama from the beginning. He used to participate in drama even during his school days. Kiran Kumar’s father Jeevan Kumar was a famous character artist, who was a Kashmiri Pandit. Kiran started his career in 1971 with ‘Do Boond Paani’. He worked in Hindi cinema to Bhojpuri films and also made a name for himself in TV.

Talking about Kiran Kumar’s personal life, his father Jeevan Kumar introduced him to Shatrughan Sinha when he returned home from boarding school. As soon as he met Shatrughan, Kiran Kumar told him that he was also very interested in acting. In such a situation, Shatrughan advised him to take admission in FTII. Everything was going well, meanwhile one day there was a huge fight between the students of acting department and directing department. The situation got so out of control that the college administration had to call the police. Due to which he had to go to jail.

Kiran Kumar started his film career with Do Boond Paani.

Kiran Kumar was also involved in this fight. The college took action against this fight and expelled four students including Kiran from the college. Kiran Kumar was on strike with his friends against the college’s decision. Due to which the college remained closed for about 45 days. A committee was formed to settle the dispute and Khwaja Ahmed Abbas was also a part of it. He scolded Kirankumar, saying, ‘Being the son of such a respected father, you come here to bully?’ He asked Kiran to meet him at the guest house the next day. When he reached there, Abbas offered him the role of an engineer in his film ‘Do Bund Paani’ and his film career took off after this jolt.
