DSSSB TGT-PGT Teachers: There is relief news for teachers who have received dismissal notices in Delhi government schools. Himanshu Gupta, Director of Education, Directorate of Education has withdrawn the dismissal notice of 61 teachers. Also, dismissal orders have been issued to four teachers.
He received the dismissal notice on August 5. Let us tell you that on August 5 last year, the directorate issued a notice to dismiss 61 teachers for lack of biometric and photo verification. An answer was sought within a month as to why he should not be fired. The teachers asked the directorate for additional facilities for biometric and photo verification.
After this, the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) re-verified the employees. In which the biometric and photo verification of the personnel was correct. In view of this, the Directorate has withdrawn the notice of dismissal. It includes teachers working on the post of TGT and PGT in various subjects starting from Assistant Primary Teachers.
The directorate issued a notice regarding the mismatch in the biometric and photographs of the candidates selected for the post of teachers by the DSSB. The board submitted its report to the directorate. After this the directorate issued a notice of dismissal. Apprehensions were raised that during the selection process the test was conducted by someone else and the job was being done by someone else. Let us tell you that in 2018, examinations were held for various posts. Before issuing the notice, the board had conducted biometric verification from 22 February 2021 to 6 April 2021.
