Ram Temple Ayodhya: Elderly and disabled devotees invited to the consecration of the Ayodhya Ram temple will not have to walk much to the grand complex, as the Mandir Nirman Trust will operate e-vehicles for them. Trustee of Mandir Trust Anil Mishra said that Ram Mandir Nirman Trust will make special arrangements for elderly pilgrims coming to Ram Janmabhoomi. Senior citizens will not need to walk much to the grand complex.

He said that after the consecration of the Ram temple, e-vehicles will be operated for the convenience of the elderly and disabled devotees as well as the sick. The trust will soon buy dozens of small e-vehicles. These e-vehicles will be battery powered ‘golf carts’ with a capacity of 12 passengers.
Mishra said that senior citizens can approach the reception office at the entrance of the Ram temple to avail this facility. They will be taken in e-vehicles to a place near the sanctum sanctorum and brought back in the same vehicle.
He said the arrangement would be for devotees who could walk 25-30 meters from the main gate to the sanctum sanctorum, but could not cover the distance of 600 metres.
Mishra said that the trust will also provide medical facilities to devotees.
