California: A shocking incident has come to light in the city of Tustin, Southern California, USA, where the most dangerous material in the world has been found, due to which a person can become a victim of cancer. Last Tuesday, a World War II-era Blip hangar burned down in Southern California, used to store large airplanes. Asbestos was found in the ash after the blip hangar was burned, which has led to the decision to close the Park School in California.
Asbestos is a type of material that does not catch fire. It is a naturally occurring form of silicate, a material found in rocks. Its specialty is that it is non-flammable, due to which it is used in the construction sector. However, when its elements enter the body, they remain in the lungs for a long time. Because they are not soluble and its fibers can cause lung cancer. Let us tell you that asbestos was found in the initial sample of the debris.
After this, at least 9 parks in Tustin were closed. People living near the wreckage were warned to stay away from the ash from the blimp hangar. Also, it is advised to reduce outdoor activities. The Tustin city administration has declared a citywide state of emergency. The main reason is that asbestos can pollute the city’s air.
Schools were closed on Thursday to ensure the safety of children attending the Tustin Unified School District, about 56 kilometers from Los Angeles. Last Tuesday morning, a fire broke out in a large wooden hangar, one of two hangars built by the US Navy in 1942 to house Army blimps.
