The list of International Emmy Awards 2023 winners has been announced and the uncrowned king of comedy Veer Das has made India proud by winning the award. Let us tell you that Veer Das has become famous for his comedy all over the world through his special show ‘Veer Das Landing’ on Netflix. For this work he was awarded the title of International Emmy for Comedy. Indians held their heads high at the 51st International Emmy Awards night held in New York on Monday night when people were seen clapping for Veer Das. Let us tell you that 56 contestants from 20 countries and 20 continents participated in this competition.

Apart from Veer Das, Martin Freeman has bagged the best actor award in the list of winners. He is given this title for his drama Responder. Jim Sarab was nominated for the lead role in the Indian aerospace drama Rocket Boys. Empress Summerhouse Syrian won the award for Best Drama Series. Mariupol, The People’s Story won the award for Best Documentary. Carla Souza won the Best Actress award for the Mexican drama Diva. Actress Shefali Shah, who gave a powerful performance in the Netflix series ‘Delhi Crime’, was also nominated from India for this category.
