200 medical seats will increase in Bihar next year. Chapra and Samastipur Medical College will be ready by March. Children will be able to get admission in 100 seats each in these two medical colleges. The work of Chapra and Samastipur Medical College is in final stage. The department is trying to get both the medical colleges ready by the current financial year i.e. March 2024. As soon as the two medical colleges are ready, the principals will write to the NMC and seek permission for enrollment in 100 seats each.
Currently, registration is going on for 1630 seats in various government medical colleges of Bihar. Under this 200 in PMC Patna, 120 in DMC Laheriasarai, 120 in Bhagalpur, 150 in NMC Patna, 120 in Muzaffarpur, 120 in Gaya, 120 in IGIMS Patna, 120 in GMC Betia, 120 in WIMS Patna, 120 in Madpur, 100 in Medical College Bihta, GM 100 in C Purnia, 40 in Patna Dental College And Rahui Dental College, Nalanda has 100 seats.
Currently, there are 1.04 lakh MBBS seats available for admission in medical colleges across the country. It includes 54000 seats of government medical colleges. BDS has more than 27800 seats. 52700 Ayush courses and 603 Veterinary Science and animal Animal husbandry.
Students doing MBBS from Ukraine are required to work in medical ward, BS course from Philippines is not allowed.
Students who pass 12th without Biology will also give NEET
Students who have passed 12th standard without biology subject can also appear for medical entrance exam. Neat By paying, you can take admission in MBBS and BDS courses. According to the eligibility rules of NEET 2024, students who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subject in 12th and have Biology or Biotechnology as additional subject can appear for medical entrance exam.
