After the legal divorce between Sergey Brin and Nicole Shanahan, they will decide between themselves for the custody of their 4-year-old daughter. However, Shanahan did not contest the divorce, rather he supported his wife’s divorce petition from the court. They settled issues including attorney fees and division of property in confidential arbitration.
Did not oppose the divorce
According to court documents, Shanahan did not contest the divorce and sought spousal support. Other issues such as attorney fees and division of assets were also resolved through confidential mediation. The two began dating in 2015, the same year Brin divorced his first wife, Ann Wojcicki. According to Business Insider, they finally tied the knot in 2018.

However, they separated and began living separately in 2021, after which Brynne filed for divorce in 2022, citing growing differences. According to the New York Post, the 50-year-old billionaire filed for divorce a month after his wife’s alleged affair with the Twitter CEO, who had been friends for years. However, both Shanahan and Musk denied the affair.
