The application process for Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in Central Universities has now become easy. On the lines of One Time Registration (OTR) of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), applications for teacher recruitment will now be accepted in all central universities of the country. A Central University Selection (CU-Selection) portal has been created for this. 40 universities of the country including Allahabad University, BHU, AMU are connected with this portal. On the portal, not only the recruitment details of teachers in the universities are available but also the application can be done easily with one click.
The applying candidate must first create a profile on the CU Selection Portal, which will contain all the candidate’s academic information. Application will be made through this profile. It is clear that candidates will not have to enter their educational record details repeatedly. Through this profile, candidates will be able to apply to other universities including IVV. After submitting the form, the application fee option will appear. Currently IVV is going on to fill 342 vacancies of teachers, the details of which are also uploaded on CU-Selection. Applications for teacher recruitment are being accepted on this portal.
Application process is going on for the recruitment of 342 posts:
Among the 342 teaching vacancies in Allahabad University, for which applications are being accepted, there are 147 posts of Assistant Professor in 42 subjects, 130 posts of Associate Professor in 39 subjects and 65 posts of Professor in 33 subjects. 82 backlog posts of SC-ST and OBC have also been included in this recruitment. The last date for online registration and fee deposit has been fixed as January 2.
