Virat Kohli has scored 10925 runs at an average of around 50 in 143 first class matches, including 36 centuries. If List-A matches are added, Kohli has played 309 matches and scored 14967 runs at an average of 57, including 52 centuries.

Performance in World T20
Virat Kohli played his first T20 match on 12 June 2010 against Zimbabwe. In this match, Kohli scored 26 runs and was not out. Kohli scored his maiden half-century in T20Is against Sri Lanka on 7 August 2012. So far Kohli has played 115 international T-20 matches and scored 4008 runs at an average of 53. Kohli’s best run-scoring in T20 Internationals was against Australia and then against England. In T20, he has scored 794 runs at an average of 53 by playing 22 T20 matches against Australia.
