Australia has many stadiums which are many decades old. This includes Brisbane’s Gabba Stadium, which is over 130 years old. Now there is talk of demolishing this historic stadium. A school near the stadium will be relocated, while the underground train facility will also be available here.

The government will invest 1.8 billion dollars i.e. about 15 thousand crore rupees in Queensland to prepare for the Olympic Games. The stadium currently has a capacity of 42 thousand spectators, but will be rebuilt with a capacity of around 50 thousand spectators. The stadium was built in 1895 and is one of the oldest stadiums in the world. Test match between Australia and England will be played here in 2025. After this it will be demolished.
