How to Crack UPSC Civil Services Interview: The UPSC Civil Services Main Exam Result has been declared and now the candidates have to attend the final stage of the selection process i.e. Personality Test i.e. Interview. You know that UPSC exam is one of the toughest exams, but you hardly know that its interview is no less tough. UPSC Civil Services interview is not conducted by an individual but by a panel and its marks decide whether you clear the UPSC Civil Services exam or not as the merit list is prepared on the basis of CSE Mains Result Marks and Interview Marks. .

If you are selected for UPSC interview, let us tell you that you have to score 275 marks in it. In such a situation, candidates should keep the following points in mind during the interview-

  • First of all, candidates have to fill detailed application form-II. DAF i.e. Detailed Application Form II is available on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

  • In this candidates have to fill their educational and personal information along with other information related to their hobbies, interests, service and cadre state.

  • UPSC interview is not only an interview of your intelligence but also of your personality. In such a situation, whether you are male or female, follow the formal dress code.

  • If you are female then go for UPSC CSE interview wearing salwar suit or saree. Wear small earrings in the ears, do not wear heavy jewellery. While male candidates have to wear suit, pants and shirt with tie. Go with a strap and wristwatch with a leather formula.

  • In UPSC interview there are many current affairs questions, in which case it is necessary to have a strong grasp on current affairs. For this, read English and Hindi newspapers daily, along with watching TV channels.

  • Have a strong hold on the subject in which you have a bachelor’s degree. Have a strong grasp of the language you are comfortable with, Hindi or English.
