IGNOU Admission 2023: Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) Patna Regional Office has recorded registration. In this semester 80 thousand 261 students have got admission in various courses. Entry will be open till September 20. This number is expected to reach 85 thousand. Patna ranks fifth in the country in terms of admissions. Regional centers of Delhi are in the top three.
This information was given by Regional Director Dr. Abhilash Nayak. Last time there were 70 thousand 594 nominations. He informed that ten new major courses have been introduced in the July session. Besides, five skill based courses have also been started for firefighters. IGNOU enrolls in around 240 different subjects. Swayamprabha channel has live sessions in 12 Indian languages.
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe students are provided with free enrollment facility in three programmes. Apart from the Rs 50,000 incentive given to female graduates under the Bihar Government’s Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana, students here can also benefit from various scholarship schemes.
On this occasion, IGNOU Deputy Registrars Sanjay Patel and Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Dr. Shalini, Dr. Shalini Dixit, Dr. Asif Iqbal, All Assistant Regional Director and Anand Kumar Assistant Registrar were present.

1.BAAS- Bachelor of Arts (Applied Skills)
2.BAASTM- Bachelor of Arts (Applied Skills) Tourism Management
3.BAASSMME- Bachelor of Arts (Applied Skills) MSME
4.BCOMAS- Bachelor of Commerce (Applied Skills)
5.BSCAS- Bachelor of Science (Applied Skills)
