In three days, the hosts registered a massive victory against India by an innings and 32 runs to take an unassailable 1-0 lead. Thus India’s dream of winning the Test in South Africa remained a dream. Rohit Sharma has said after the defeat that we will definitely make a comeback in the next Test match.
Rohit said after the match, “KL Rahul batted well and gave us a good score. But then we couldn’t take advantage of the situation with the ball and today we didn’t do well with the bat either. This is a scoring ground, we have seen South Africa scoring here. But KL showed what we need to do on a pitch like this. Most of our bowlers have not played on this ground before. That’s why I don’t want to say more about them. We have to come forward as a team. Now we need to prepare for the next test. We will be back in the next Test.”
