Hardik Pandya has proved himself to be a great all-rounder over the last few years and former Indian batting coach Sanjay Bangar believes that the presence of the Baroda cricketer adds a lot of balance to the team and will do well in the World Cup. Very important.
Hardik was rested for the Super Four match against Bangladesh but will return for the final against Sri Lanka on Sunday. “He has matured a lot in the last few years,” Bangar told PTI. Earlier he had some fitness issues but he worked hard to reach where he is today. Now he is fulfilling his responsibilities very well and is the captain of India’s T20 team. Being an all-rounder, he provides a lot of balance to the team.
Hardik will also play the role of third fast bowler alongside Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj at the World Cup and Bangar believes this gives the Indian bowling attack a complete look.
He said, “We have the best bowling attack for the World Cup. We have two great new bowlers in Bumrah and Siraj and besides the veteran Mohammed Shami in the squad. We have the option of Kuldeep Yadav to take the wicket.
Bangar said, “Ravindra Jadeja is in the team. As I said earlier, Hardik’s presence gives India many options. I believe India have a complete bowling attack for the World Cup.
