The third match of the three-match T20 series between India and South Africa will be played in Johannesburg on Thursday. South Africa beat India in the second rain-affected T20 to take a 1-0 series lead. There will be cloudy weather during the third T20 match as well. Although there is no chance of rain, there is a possibility of drizzle but it will not affect the match much. During the second T20 match, rain and fog made it difficult for the Indian bowlers. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav will want to bowl first in the third match.
According to Accuweather, Johannesburg has a two percent chance of rain during the day. 54% of the sky will be cloudy during this period. Overnight, the chance of rain will increase to about 36%, while skies will be 88% cloudy. Temperatures are expected to hover around 28 degrees Celsius during the day, rising to 26 degrees Celsius when the match begins. The temperature will touch 20 degrees during the second innings.
India now have only four T20 matches to play before the T20 World Cup and they don’t have many chances to grab the selectors’ attention. However, India have performed well in all three formats in Johannesburg and their side’s tally is 3-1 in T20s. South African fast bowlers Gerald Koitz, Marco Janssen and Lungi Ngidi will miss tomorrow’s match as they have to play first series matches to prepare for the Test series.
