New Delhi. The list of retained and released players for IPL 2024 has been announced. 10 teams have retained 173 players. 737 crore rupees have been spent for this. Hardik Pandya is rumored to be moving from Gujarat Titans to Mumbai Indians, but it has not been officially announced yet. According to BCCI, Delhi Capitals have retained 16 players, Gujarat Titans 18, Kolkata Knight Riders 13, Mumbai Indians 17, Punjab Kings 17, Royal Challengers Bangalore 18 and Rajasthan Royals 17. According to the rules, a team can have a maximum of 25 players. It includes 8 foreign players.

According to the IPL, RCB owes the most Rs 40.75 crore. A team can buy 7 more players. A team must have at least 19 players. Apart from this, Chennai Super Kings have 31.4 crores, Delhi have 28.95 crores, Gujarat Titans have 23.15 crores, KKR have 32.7 crores, Lucknow Super Giants have 13.15 crores, Mumbai Indians have 15.25 crores, Punjab Kings have 29.1 crores. Rajman is left. 14.5 crores while Sunrisers Hyderabad are left with 34 crores.

Pandya is yet to be announced
The formal paperwork regarding Hardik Pandya is also yet to be completed. A senior BCCI official and IPL Governing Council member told news agency PTI that Hardik has been traded. Now the deal is official and he is a Mumbai Indians player. Mumbai Indians have signed one-rounder Cameron Green to Royal Challengers Bangalore in an all-cash deal. Green was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 17.5 crore during the last auction. So, Mumbai Indians did not have the necessary funds to buy Hardik until his deal was done. For this reason, no official announcement has been made in this regard yet. This may be approved soon.
