Israeli army attacks on Hamas targets continue, 24 patients die in hospital due to lack of fuel

Gaza City:
The Israeli army continues to attack Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that no place would be left where Hamas exists. Many Hamas targets have been destroyed since the Israeli army launched ground attacks. Hamas bases are also being claimed under several hospitals.

Important information regarding the case:

  1. Al Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip has become the new battleground between Hamas and the Israeli army. Israeli troops continue to enter Gaza tunnels to destroy Hamas.

  2. Gaza’s largest hospital has run out of oxygen, fuel and other basic supplies, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Three newborn babies and 24 other patients have died as a result.

  3. “Twenty-four patients have died in various departments in the past 48 hours, as power cuts caused critical medical equipment to stop working,” said Ashraf al-Qudra, a ministry spokesman.

  4. Israeli soldiers searched the hospital for a third day today, claiming it was being used as a command center by Hamas. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released a video of a Hamas tunnel. Israel claims they were found on hospital premises. The IDF also claimed to have found the body of a hostage in Al Shifa.

  5. The first shipment of fuel entered Gaza from Egypt after Israel agreed to a US request to allow limited deliveries to end a blackout that has halted aid convoys for two days.

  6. Israel has issued a new warning following an attack on northern Gaza, asking civilians in the south to evacuate and refrain from firing.

  7. “We’re asking people to evacuate. I know it’s not easy for many of them, but we don’t want to see civilians caught in the crossfire,” said Mark Regev, an aide to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

  8. Israel Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari said that wherever Hamas is present, the army will advance. “We are committed to stepping up our operations. There will be military action wherever Hamas is present, including in the south of the Gaza Strip,” he said.

  9. Israel vowed to destroy the Hamas group that controls the Gaza Strip after an October 7 attack in which its fighters killed 1,200 people and took 240 hostages.

  10. In retaliation, Israel bombarded most of Gaza City and reduced it to rubble. The army has been ordered to evacuate the entire northern part, and nearly two-thirds of the Strip’s 2.3 million Palestinians have been left homeless.
