Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently said that his country is fighting for its survival and that preparations are being made for a ground offensive in Gaza and that ‘the death of all members of Hamas is imminent.’ In an address to the nation on Wednesday evening, he said the two main goals of the war were to “destroy Hamas by destroying its military and governance capabilities and to take every possible step to bring home our hostages”.
