New Delhi. The fourth T20 match between the cricket teams of India and Australia will be played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur on Friday (December 1). Hosts India lead the 5-match series 2-1. The Indian team, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, will be looking to clinch the series by winning the fourth T20. Shreyas Iyer is returning to Team India for the fourth and fifth T20Is, taking on the role of vice-captain. It means that Tilak Verma will have to make sacrifices for his senior partner. On the other hand, it won’t be easy for Suryakumar Yadav to choose between fast bowler Irishan Krishna and Deepak Chahar.
India (IND vs AUS) started the series with a bang by winning two T20s in a row. However, he had to face defeat in the third T20I. Glenn Maxwell’s unbeaten century kept Australia alive by winning the third T20 in Guwahati. The Indian team will want to strike back by registering a win in Raipur.
Rituraj Gaikwad did a feat that even Kohli and Rohit could not, creating a series of records in Guwahati.
Shreyas will be at number four
Yashshwi Jaiswal and Rituraj Gaikwad will enter the preliminary round. Ishan Kishan will be seen playing at number three, who is in great form at the moment. Surya will be hoping for a big innings from this wicketkeeper in Raipur. Shreyas Iyer will be at number four, having been given a break from the first three T20Is of the current series after the World Cup. With the return of Shreyas, Suryakumar Yadav will be seen playing at number five. Rinku Singh has been doing well so far at the sixth position while Akshar Patel will remain at the seventh position. In the 8th, it will be difficult for Surya to choose between Krishna (Prisiddha Krishna) and Chahar (Deepak Chahar). Prasidh has conceded more runs in the first 3 matches, so he has to make room for Chahar. This is followed by Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi and Arshdeep Singh.
