JAC 10th 12th Exam 2024 Date: Department of School Education and Literacy has changed the matric and intermediate exams to be held in 2024 and 2025. Matriculation and Intermediate examinations will no longer have separate OMR sheets and answer sheets. These exams will be conducted on answer books only. Students also have to write the answers to the objective questions on the answer sheet itself. The state government has reduced the marks and number of questions for objective questions asked in matric and intermediate, while the marks and number of subject-oriented questions are being increased.
The 2024 matric-inter examination will have objective questions of 30 percent marks while the questions of 50 percent marks will be of short and long answer type. The remaining 20 percent marks will be awarded for internal evaluation. At the same time, in the 2025 exam, objective questions of 20 per cent marks and subjective questions of 60 per cent marks will be asked. 20% marks will be internal evaluation. Education Secretary K. Ravi Kumar has instructed the Jharkhand Academic Council for this. By 2022 and 2023, objective questions carrying 40-40 per cent marks were asked in matric and intermediate examinations, while subject-oriented tests carried 40-40 per cent marks. At the same time, there was an internal assessment of 20 marks. In the 2024 matric-inter exams, there will be a decrease of 10 percent marks in objective questions and an increase of 10 percent marks in subjective questions as compared to 2023. At the same time, objective questions will be further reduced by 10 percent marks in 2025 as well, while subjective questions will be increased by 10 percent marks. CBSE The state government has taken this decision on the lines of CBSE also conducts objective evaluation of 20 marks, subjective evaluation of 60 marks and internal evaluation of 20 marks.
Jack will issue model questions on the new pattern
JACK will release the model question paper and its answers based on the changes in the exam pattern. Model question papers will be issued from next month. So that students can know about the exam pattern. Also, they will be able to prepare based on increased number of subjective questions. JACK has already released the exam schedule. The matric and intermediate exams are scheduled to be held from February 6 to February 26. JACK will release revised exam calendar. Different times will be rescheduled for OMR sheets and answer sheets in both shifts.

Now the exam will not be conducted on OMR sheet. 2024 exam will have objective questions of 30 marks and subjective questions of 50 marks. While in 2025 there will be objective questions of 20 marks and subjective questions of 60 marks. Answers should be given on the answer book itself. In both the years, 20 marks will be awarded each for internal assessment.
