JEE Main: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday extended the application date for the first phase of JEE Main 2024 session. The last date to apply was 30th November, which has been extended to 4th December.

The admit card for the exam will be issued three days before the exam. The result will be declared on 12th February. So far more than nine lakh applications have been received. At the same time, 50 thousand students from Bihar have applied for the January session.
JEE Main 2024 admission will be available in these institutes Candidates who qualify the examination will be funded in NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs), Universities or recognized by the participating State Governments. It is also the qualifying test for JEE (Advanced), which is taken for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
Tested in 13 languages
The registration for the first phase of JEE Main is till Friday. According to NTA, JEE Main result will be declared on February 12. Like last year, the exam will be conducted in 13 languages – English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
Previous Year Paper Pattern
JEE Main 2023 Paper 1 will have two sections. Section A will have 20 (MCQ) for each subject, while Section B will have 10 (Numerical Questions) for each subject, out of which 5 questions will be attempted. JEE Main Paper 2 will be divided into three parts. Part A will consist of 20 MCQs related to Mathematics and 10 Statistical questions, of which five will have to be answered.
